**Please note that registrations for the in-person event have reached capacity. The event will be streamed live and the link will be provided following registration for the online event. For more information, please contact vic@aala.org.au**

The AALA National Mentoring Program is back for another year! The Mentoring Program is State-based, pairing mentors and mentees located in the same region. This year's applications have been numerous and impressive.

The Victorian Branch of the AALA invites you to join us for the launch of our Mentoring Program for 2021. The evening will be an opportunity for mentors, mentees, members and supporters of the AALA to meet and network. Please register your attendance as, due to COVID-19, limited places are available. All members are welcome to attend the event, however due to capacity constraints, priority will be given to mentors and mentees.

There will be a keynote address delivered by his Honour Chief Judge Peter Kidd of the County Court of Victoria.

Details of the event are:

Date: Wednesday 5 May 2021

Time: 5.30 pm registration for a 5.45 pm start

Venue: Herbert Smith Freehills, Level 42, 101 Collins Street, Melbourne

Cost: Free

Dress code: Smart casual

Drinks and light snacks will be provided.

This event is proudly hosted in partnership with Herbert Smith Freehills, a long term sponsor of the AALA and the National Mentoring Program.

We note that applications for the AALA Mentoring Program have closed and allocations are in the process of being finalised. Applicants will be contacted and advised of their allocated mentor or mentee(s) by Monday 19 April 2021

This event will be conducted in a COVID-safe manner and attendees will be required to comply with the public health guidelines and Chief Health Officer’s directions as in force at the date of the event (including maintaining a safe physical distance), in addition to any requirements from the host firm.

In the unfortunate event there is a sudden tightening of restrictions affecting the event, we will look to either postpone or cancel the event.
