The Victorian Branch of the Asian Australian Lawyers Association is excited to host a launch event and celebrate the recent appointment of His Honour Magistrate Raj Malhotra to the Magistrates’ Court of Victoria.

His Honour Magistrate Raj Malhotra is the second person of Indian origin to be appointed a magistrate in Victoria and will speak about his cultural experience growing in up in Australia and his extensive legal experience. His Honour has held many positions including that of Crown Prosecutor for the Office of Director of Public Prosecutions in Western Australia, General Counsel and Director of Regulatory Services for the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation and a member of the Adult Parole Board.

Join friends, colleagues and fellow AALA members in celebration of His Honour's appointment and the exciting next chapter of AALA's expansion. The event will be held at Monash Law Chambers, with the generous support of Monash University.
