Cultural Diversity in the Workplace- CEO Series- Part 2 with MLC Life Insurance

AALA in collaboration with Herbert Smith Freehills is this year hosting a series of events with CEOs of Australian companies to explore their views on the importance of cultural diversity in the
workplace. These events will be held in Herbert Smith Freehills’ Melbourne office.

The second of these events will be held on the evening of Tuesday 17 April and will
feature David Hackett, CEO and Executive Director of MLC Life Insurance. Raji
Azzam, Partner, and Sarah Yu, Special Counsel, in the Corporate team at Herbert
Smith Freehills will also be joining David on the panel. Angela Lee, a Melbourne-based
barrister and AALA committee member, will lead the panel discussion about
MLC’s efforts to leverage the power of cultural diversity amongst its workforce. The
panel will also discuss the wider importance of such issues for Australian businesses
and the legal profession in Australia.
