Dear Members,

The AALA committee invites you to join us for a National Roundtable day on Friday 21 September 2018.

The AALA is your voice for promoting cultural diversity in the law and addressing issues that affect Asian Australians. Our advocacy efforts have included media engagement, cultural diversity research, strategic partnerships with other diversity advocacy groups, networking events, and professional development events. We have gained the support of many high profile members of the profession, and we are now proudly a nationwide organisation with branches in Victoria, New South Wales, Western Australia and most recently, Queensland.

As we continue to grow, we are keen to engage our members in AALA's strategic direction, and to have your feedback about what members need and want. The National Roundtable day is your opportunity to do so and to meet face to face with the AALA national executive committee. Topics discussed will include:
  • What our members need and want
  • Review of current national & state AALA activities
  • Relationships and advocacy Issues
  • Where to next for the AALA and for the profession generally

This is a full day event that will run 9am to 5pm. Members who attend will be eligible for 6 CLE points. Interstate members are warmly welcomed to attend.
