The Western Australian Branch of the Asian Australian Lawyers Association Inc. (AALA) gives notice of, and invites you to, the 2018 Western Australian Branch Meeting of the Association (WA Branch Meeting). The WA Branch Meeting will be held:

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the AALA will be held immediately after the WA Branch Meeting at 4.30pm AWST.
Notice of Meeting and Proxy Form
Members of the AALA (Members) are requested to attend the WA Branch Meeting to:
Non-members are welcome to attend the WA Branch Meeting and the Association’s AGM but will not be eligible to vote on the items of business (see further details below on eligibility to vote).
Members may appoint another Member to attend and vote at the WA Branch Meeting, as the Member’s proxy, by completing a Proxy Form. Completed Proxy Forms must be returned to the Branch Secretary by 4.00pm AWST on Tuesday, 2 October 2018.
Eligibility to vote
A person is entitled to vote at the WA Branch Meeting and AGM if the person has fully paid up their membership fee for the financial year ending 30 June 2019.
Nominations for WA Branch Committee
Nominations have closed and elections are not required pursuant to the AALA Constitution. The new WA Branch Committee will be declared by the Chairperson at the WA Branch Meeting.
