The AALA Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Association will be held immediately after the Victorian Branch Meeting at 6.00pm.
Notice of Meeting and Proxy Form
Members of the AALA are requested to attend the Victorian Branch Meeting to:
- elect Victorian Branch Officeholders and Ordinary Members; and
- consider any other items of business.
Non-members are welcome to attend the Victorian Branch Meeting and the AALA's AGM but will not be eligible to vote on the items of business (see further details below on eligibility to vote).
Members may appoint another Member to attend and vote at the Victorian Branch Meeting, as the Member’s proxy, by completing a Proxy Form. Completed Proxy Forms must be returned to the Branch Secretary by 6.00pm on Wednesday 3 October 2018.
Eligibility to vote
A person is entitled to vote at the Victorian Branch Meeting and AGM if the person has fully paid up their membership fee for the financial year ending 30 June 2019.
Nominations for Victorian Branch Committee
If required, elections for the positions of President and Secretary, and a single election for Ordinary Member positions of the Victorian Branch Committee will be held at the Victorian Branch Meeting.
Nominations can be made by completing a Nomination Form and returning it to the Branch Secretary.
Nominations close 6.00pm (AEST) on Tuesday 2 October 2018.
