AALA FQL CONTRACT DRAFTING WORKSHOP WITH SUE TOMAT OF GUMLEAFGREEN - REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!

Trainer profile

Having previously practised for 12 years as a commercial lawyer at Clayton Utz, Sue has since amassed 20 years of extensive experience in communication consulting and training. She specialises in helping a broad range of clients in Australia, New Zealand and across Asia to become more effective and efficient communicators, which has significantly contributed to their success. ‘

Her training on drafting contract clauses combines best-practice approaches she developed during her 12 years as a commercial lawyer in private practice, in-house in one of the world’s largest corporates and in-house in the public sector, including while drafting legislation for the Queensland Parliament. She won an Australia Day Council achievement award for the work she did for the Queensland Government.

She has helped graduates to senior legal practitioners in:

·       many law firms (Ashurst, Baker McKenzie, Clayton Utz, DLA Piper, Herbert Smith Freehills, Minter Ellison and Norton Rose Fulbright)

·       legal teams in Australia's major banks (NAB and Westpac)

·       public and government legal teams and associations (Department of Premier & Cabinet VIC, NSW Law Society, Law Institute of Victoria, QLD Law Society, Victorian Bar Association, Victorian Government Solicitor's Office).

Please come along to the session prepared to contribute your perspectives and questions – Sue depends on these to be able to ensure she meets your needs
