You are invited to register and participate in the Culture, Career, and the Self: A new lens on mental health for Asian Australians seminar, with light refreshments provided.
This event is free and exclusive to AALA members. By attending this event, you qualify for 1 CPD point.
As Asian Australian professionals, many of us carry the weight of our families' migration stories, sacrifice, resilience, and unspoken struggles. These experiences shape not just our personal lives but also how we navigate the workplace, relationships, and our own sense of self.
The aim of this presentation is to unveil some misconceptions about generational trauma and reframe mental health in a way that is relevant and meaningful for Asian Australians. You will learn how generational trauma(s) influences your mental wellbeing, interpersonal and intimate relationships, and career and vocational lives.
You’re also invited to take a free 5-minute quiz prior to the seminar, to scope out your how generational trauma has affected you. Take the quiz here.
