Launch of AALA Superdiversity Action Plan 2025

Dear AALA Members, Friends and Guests,

We are pleased to invite you to the official launch of the AALA Superdiversity Action Plan 2025.

This event marks a new chapter in AALA's decade-long journey of advocating for cultural diversity, inclusion, and equity in the legal profession. The Action Plan reaffirms our commitment to amplifying the voices of underrepresented Asian Australian lawyers, and to shaping a profession that reflects the communities we serve.

We are honoured to be joined by two keynote speakers:
Justice Paingakulam, whose work on the bench continues to advance fairness and justice.
Katrina Rathie, AALA NSW Patron and trailblazing leader in Australian legal practice.

We are also greatly privileged to be joined by luminaries of the legal field, Attorney General Michael Daley, The Hon. Alister Henskens SC MP, The Hon. Michael Kirby AC CMG, Councillor Alexia Yazdani, who have generously lent their support to this important initiative and to advancing diversity and equity within our profession.

Please join us for an evening of reflection, conversation, and community as we launch this important initiative. This is a free event, and light refreshments will be provided for those attending in person.
