The NSW Branch of the AALA is pleased to host its second Diversity Series event at its corporate partner, Corrs Chambers Westgarth. Please also refer to the flyer which is attached.

AALA, in conjunction with Corrs, has gathered a panel of private practice solicitors, in-house counsel, and barristers, to provide insight to law students thinking about their future careers and employers seeking to hire them. Law students who are approaching the end of their courses are encouraged to attend, but all members, as well as practitioners, will find it useful to consider inclusiveness, the unique talents that individuals can bring to their workplaces, and the concrete advantages of hiring and nurturing talent from diverse backgrounds.

The event will be moderated by Melissa Liu, Associate at Corrs Chambers Westgarth. The panel includes a diverse and accomplished set of young practitioners, being:

  • Jessica Norgard, Acting Deputy General Counsel for NBN Co.
  • Ronny Chen, Barrister at Frederick Jordan Chambers
  • Magan Goh, Lawyer at Corrs Chambers Westgarth
